Mom and I went to the zoo. It was full of New Yorkers, but every few feet you would come across a sentient animal, too.

Mom took me to the Children’s Zoo first, so I could hug some exotic animals. Pearl was relieved to have the day off.

Mom could only get pictures when I was not interacting with fauna. So, unfortunately, you can’t see photos of me being licked sloppy by a goat or of the sheep whose nose I picked.

Despite the abundance of weird and fanciful creatures that defied reason and warped your sanity (I’m talking about unicorns, manticores, 2 gryphons and a playpus), I spent most of my time watching squirrels and pigeons. That is, until I saw the ducks.

The ducks were awesome.

Those are my two lady friends. I met them by the ducks.
