Bronx Zoo - Butterfly Garden

After braving the mass of humanity packed into the Children’s Zoo, Mom and I stopped at this coy pond to decide where to go next. We figured the zombie hordes would avoid the butterfly garden entirely, and we were right!
I overcame my fear of flying bugs fairly quickly. They overcame their fear of me just as fast.
Look, one landed on Mom’s hat. I don’t know why Dad’s so afraid of these. I guess they remind him of clowns.
By this point, I already liked butterflies. I mean they kiss with their eyelashes; what’s not to like? But then, I saw a sign which made me LOVE them.
I could go for some cakes right now…
